Martinez Christmas 2008

Brenner and Tresden were arm wrestling and Amree wanted to get in on the action. She won, of course. She takes after her Aunt Natosha.

Brenner and Tresden got mom a spa treatment in a box. They love me!

Amree sporting her new slippers and wondering, "What's all this about?"

Daddy and Amree just being cute as always.

Tresden with his photo smile as apposed to his real one.

Brenner showing the peace sign, you know the usual pose for a 13 year old. Doesn't it make him look cooler?

Amree says, "I have gotten in trouble for opening these presents for days and now you want me to do what?"

Britesha shows her dramatic excitment for getting gum. She's an actress!!!!!!!!!

Tresden my 12 year old, loves his toys. Hopefully he never grows out of it and is always a kid at heart. He takes after his mom I guess.

Ready For My First Recital

Amree can not resist Grandma Larsen's piano. This little girl loves music in any form. No stereo is safe. She will figure out how to turn it on. We can't wait to see what she will do with it in her life, but I am sure it will most likely be a big part of it. She is always dancing and is fascinated by instruments. Britesha is so proud of the fact that she loves dancing and is anxious to start her in dance lessons. She leads the music in sacrament meeting. I am sure that the Sister Tuttle appreciates the help.

Spider Cupcakes "A Work Of Art"

The kids were off school for Halloween this year, so we decided to get festive and makecupcakes. Tresden loves to bake, so he made the cupcakes. They were yummy. Brenner is the artist, so he helped mom decorate them. We tried to copy cupcakes from a magazine. They didn't turn out as cute, but they were lots of fun to make.

Britesha was too busy getting ready with her costume. She was a pink crayon. I only got to see her all dressed up for a second, so I didn't get a picture. She did look very cute. If I get any pictures later, I will post them. The boys think they are too cool to dress up now.

On Halloween The Bugs Come Out

Amree was a lady bug this year for Halloween. This was a popular costume for little girls this year. There were 4 other little girls as lady bugs also. Of course they all weren't as cute as our little bug. We went and did trunk-or-treat at Grandma Larsens ward. She didn't quite get the idea until the end, where she would hold out her hand and wait patiently for her candy.
Amree is the most polite little girl. Her favorite word is thank you. Every time some one gives her something, she says "tain-do." She will even say it for you when she gives you something. But do you think we could get her to say it to anyone who gave her candy when she was trick-or-treating. No way!

Grandma And Grandpa's House

We visited mom and dad for a couple of days while Darren tiled their kitchen floor. He did a pretty darn good job I must say. (By the way, I have no idea why this is underlining while I type. I am still learning all these things.)
Amree enjoyed her time with Grandpa and Grandma. It took her about 2 seconds to warm up to them. She's usually a friendly little thing anyway, but you can sure tell she loves them. Amree has figured out that Grandma gives the best back scratches ever. She would just lay there forever. She could be all stressed out and mom would tickle her back and instantly she was completely relaxed. It was great!
Here is a picture of her on Grandpa's motorcycle. She kept hugging it. I took about 8 pictures, because everytime I went to take the picture she would hug the bike again.
Look at that smile, do you think that's a proud Grandpa.

Amree had so much fun on the trampoline. It's like a giant playpin. She just runs, falls and bounces around for hours and is happy as can be.

Kaybrielle, Kolten and Kolbey joined in on the fun. They were so good with her. They were very careful not to bounce to high and they played with her for quite a while before they politely said, "Um, do you think you could get her off her. We want to jump now." (Kaybrielle) He was trying his hardest to be patient!

Hansome Martinez Boys

Look at all those worthy priesthood holders. It's a calming feeling to know we have so many in our homes. This is a picture of the Martinez boys standing outside just before the priesthood session of conference. The women got together for a jab session while the boys went off to learn how to be a better priesthood holders. I guess anyway, I don't think I've ever been invited to one of these meetings. I guess that's because I'm just a girl!

My Sleeping Angels

No matter how old they get, this is definitely when they are the sweetest! I think everyone will agree.

Britesha was not very happy about me taking this picture, but I just couldn't resist.

Goodlooking Boys

Tresden's in 7th grade now and just as sweet as ever! He is such a big help to me and he is still Amree's night in shining armor. He rescues her all the time.
Brenner has too many girls that like him. I told him, you know you can't date until you are 16, maybe we should work on making you look a little more nerdy.

Are these boys good looking or what!

Martinez Family Out On The Farm

Darrens work has a BBQ for the drivers every year, just to say thank you for all their hard work. It's always at one of the bosses dads farm. It's really fun! The kids even look forward to it every year. As you can see, Britesha was not there again. It was the Homecoming dance the same day. That's the life of a dating girl. She's never around for the fun anymore.

They have goats and ducks that roam around. They will eat right out of your hands. It's pretty crazy because theyare pretty short, but they can jump the fences. They get very friendly once they realize you have food. We were feeding them duck bread. For those of you who do not know what duck bread is, it's day old bread from the outlet stores. I guess they make you sign something saying you will not eat the bread yourself. It's really cheap.

There were a bunch of ducks in the water. Darren and Luke were trying to get them to come over tous, but thy didn't succeed. Usually they are right over with the goats, fighting for the next piece of bread. There is a road on the other side of the water
where people driving by stop to feed the ducks. The owners of the farm have bags of duck bread hanging on the fence for people to feed the animals. So I think they were probably full, because there were 3 cars that stopped just while we were standing there.

They have golf carts to drive around, so the boys think they are pretty cool. They got kicked off last year for getting to crazy on them. They did alot better this year. Look how cool Tresden is. This is every 12 year olds dream.

Here's Luke and Brenner going for a ride. Even Luke thought this was pretty neat and he has his drivers license.

The farm has a small par 3 golf course on it, for those of you who know what that is. I am not a golfer, but that's what Darren told me. They were haveing a best ball contest to see who could get the ball the closest to the hole. They gave away a prize. No one in our family won, but they still had fun. Here Brenner is giving it his best shot.

Britesha and Rachael

Here's Britesha and Rachael in their spinnaker warm ups. They just got them and they and they are proud to be wearing them even though they think they are ugly. I think they look cute! I will have pictures of them in the homecoming parade, that I will post in a couple of days.

I Love Bananas

This is our little monkey. She loves bananas! She sneaks them when ever we are not looking. She would eat them all day long if we let her. If we don't help her with it, she will eat the peel and all. Banana is one of the few words she can say. When she says it, she says it like there should be a question mark behind it. As soon as she is finished eating her nana? she starts asking for more nanas? I laugh every time!

Martinez Family Gathering

All the Martinez boys and their families got together for a BBQ. They cooked and served meat, meat, and more meat. It was delicious of course, as always. All the Martinez boys are chefs at heart. We enjoyed Tony and Tonya's back yard. Amree thought she was in heaven. Anytime she gets to spend all day outside is the best day of her life.

There they are slaving away. It's fun to see them all together.

Destiny will make a great babysitter someday. She loves her little cousin Amree!

Beautiful Britesha

These are Britesha's Junior school pictures. She's so beautiful!

All the family together

We had so much fun together for Labor Day. We sure missed Bridgette, Mark, and the kids. Maybe next year. It all started on Friday night when Aunt Tosha and Uncle Cody attempted to be a good influence on the youngens of our family by teaching them the proper way to toilet paper. I am sure you read about the details on Emily's blog. They made Dad so proud! It was a late night for all! Here's the handsome Daddy that night in his security uniform.

We didn't get up and get going as early as we had wanted and by the time we got to Downata we were all starving, so we broke out lunch. Of course Rainee and Cody could not wait to get wet, so they went right in. Every body had a lot of fun on the slides. I was very impressed with the little kids. They were so brave. Kaybrielle and Mark both went on the black hole slide. Mark kept doing flips off the side of the side of the pool. Olivia was the cannon ball queen and Grandpa taught her how to swim backwards. She was doing great. Nate was like a little fish in the water. He got a little too brave at one point and tried to drown himself. Scared Emily and me half to death. Rainee, Brenner and Tresden were haveing so much fun, I hardly saw them the whole day. They had fun playing basketball and football in the water with Uncle James and Uncle Cody. After the fun we all headed home for pizza and Buddy's salad. Can you say garlic?

This wasn't everyone, but it was what we could get together.

I had to add these pictures of my cute little monkey. She loves water so this was the greatest day of her life. She played until her lips turned blue. She would get warmed up and then go for more.

Nap time. Yeah for Mom! I actually got to go on the water slide.

Sunday Mom made us a great dinner. We had smoked ham. It was delicious. Everyone went out side to play a game. I have no idea what it was called, but it looked like they were haveing fun.

Amree thought she was playing. When everyone got threw throwing there balls, they would run, so she would start running with them to get the balls. She thought she was so big. Aunt Toshie was the best, she helped her stay safe.

I love my family! Let's do it again soon.
